“Shrimp” Stir-Fry

Ingredients:

1 package frozen imitation shrimp

1 red pepper, chopped

1 orange pepper, chopped

1 bunch scallions, chopped

½ lb. white mushrooms, sliced

Canola or Vegetable Oil

 

Optional:  frozen broccoli, snow peas, bean sprouts, zucchini

 

For savoury stir-fry:

Tamari sauce

Rice Vinegar

Toasted Sesame Oil

Fresh Lime Juice

 

For sweet stir-fry:

Duck sauce

Tamari sauce

1 egg, beaten

 

  1.  Heat oil in frying pan on medium heat.
  2. Add stir fry ingredients one by one and cook until they start to soften.
  3. Add ingredients for the sauce one by one and cook until flavours are dispersed throughout.
  4. Serve over steamed brown rice.
